We desire to be a peace church in our community. We desire to balance our internal congregational ministries with an increasing emphasis on ministries to those outside the congregation. We desire to more boldly link our service ministries with explicit witness to Jesus Christ.

WELCOME

At Mennonite Church of Normal we find extraordinary joy and satisfaction in following Jesus in our ordinary lives. We do this through vibrant worship, caring for each other, and partnering with others in Christian service to our community and world

WORSHIP

In our worship, we are invited to encounter God so that we become more like Jesus Christ. As we grow more into the likeness of Christ, we join God in service and mission to love and redeem the world.

TRAINING

Athletic training is much like the Mennonite notion of discipleship: by practicing in small, consistent ways can do greater things over time. A person's inner convictions and priorities are made visible to others in the way that the person lives.

SERVING

One of the heartbeats of Mennonite faith is Christ-like acts of service which make visible the good news of Jesus Christ. We seek to show Christ's love in the world through both deed and word—to people across the street, throughout our town, and around the world.

STEWARDING

We are entrusted by God with the responsibly for using our God-given resources to achieve wellness for ourselves, to seek the welfare of others and to partner in building God's Kingdom. Christian stewardship encompasses health, time, finances, relationships, work, rest and the care of all of creation.
